Integration Professionals Inc.
Integration Professionals (Inprof), is a Project Management thought leader for a broad range of industries, led by Senior Project Manager, Stephen D Wise.
Inprof works with clients in direct and indirect relationships. As part of our growth, we continually seek out relationships with providers of project services and software tools.
The business is based on helping clients solve problems. To do this we compliment our best practices with specialized Inprof project templates and Inprof web-based software tools for documenting plans and tracking issues. These tools can be used on client engagements and left behind, if requested.
Who are the professionals? Currently, Integration Professionals services are provided by Stephen Wise. As the need arises, we use our excellent connections within the industry to source out additional resources on permanent or subcontract basis.
Stephen D Wise
Stephen D Wise began his professional career in Toronto, Canada at Loblaw Cos Ltd. in 1990. Using hyper-fast product development cycles and revoloutionary data mining and marketing, President's Choice and No-Name disrupted traditonal grocery marketing and economics. Looking back, it was the perfect intersection of project execution, technology, and marketing.
Stephen's time at Loblaw Cos. included a Business Analyst role on a project, lead by luminaries Dave Nicol and Don Watt, to launch Sam's American Choice and Great Value brand for Wal-Mart (USA). See article related to Wal-Mart's announced entry into Canada.
While marketing National Brand and Private Label products for Baxter Medical, Stephen saw that a Marketing Manager and Project Manager are similar roles with different names. Both roles are hub of the wheel, responsible for coordinating spokes of Marketing, Sales, Legal, Operations, Marketing, and IT et cetera. Stephen learned that the critical skill to be mastered is the ability to influence desired outcomes while having little or no functional authority over the team members.
It wasn’t long before Stephen embraced Project Management as a driver of competitive advantage for companies seeking faster time-to-market, repeatable project frameworks, increased likelihood of project success, and the ability to coordinate diverse teams on complex projects. Stephen joined the Project Management Institute in 2000 and became a founding member of the Kitchener-Waterloo chapter of PMI.
Ever interested in thought leadership, Stephen looked at how Marketing and technology could be used on the Internet to bring customers from awareness to interactions. See the article in Marketing Magazine here. Further project work with General Motors in Detroit and Nortel in North Carolina convinced Stephen that his interest in Marketing and technology could be best fulfilled through providing Project Management services and know-how.
After leading large and successful projects developing a Call Centre, coordinating a billion dollar Merger & Acquisition, and leading a major Brand launch in the Energy sector, Stephen was recognized with Centrica’s highest North American acknowledgment, the President’s Award for Innovation. This achievment was followed-on with a global "Brix Award for Marketing" for Texas Brand Launch and local Canadian recognition for excellence in customer service while leading projects and programs in the Corporate portfolio.
